The heading

• On the left, whether the sheep is a single or twin, with twin’s name and gender
• Percentage British (if the sheep’s heritage is American/British)
• Eartag(s). Usually this is the scrapie tag, but other tags can appear here
• Registrations with other organizations, e.g., SOA, RBST, MNSBAR, IDGR
• In the center, the animal’s name, heritage, gender and date of birth
• On the right, the date the pedigree was issued, breeder name, and owner name

The pedigree

• Up to five generations of ancestors
• Where space permits, the display includes ancestors’ heritage and dates of birth
• Ancestors for whom we have no information are left blank

Ownership transfer

This part of the page is obsolete. Originally, this section was to be cut off and sent back to us upon sale or transfer. These days, we prefer that you let us know by email that you have sold a sheep so that we may send a new original certificate to the new owner. Be sure to include the new owner's email and physical addresses, and phone number.
